If he wanted, he could call it damage.
A chip in the stone.
An accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the lines were too quiet for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deep inside the underground city, morning had no place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Above, light should have been washing the rocks white.
Wind should have been moving through the valleys of G\u00f6reme.
Voices should have been drifting in the dry air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

None of that reached here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Light didn\u2019t arrive.
